I Don't Care What You Think About Me it was All Her Fault!

So this is an essay on a book i read, i suggest you read it I'm sure you would enjoy it.
Talk about a sad book, well at least up to the end or at least I thought so.  If anything the end got me real angry.  This book is called Thirteen Reasons Why and the main subject of the book is suicide.  Suicide, we never really talk about it mostly because its such a horrible thing but why do people do it.  In Thirteen Reasons Why a teenage girl named Hanna kills her self and two weeks later a boy named Clay receives a package.  We he opens the package he there are 13 tapes inside.  The tapes are from Hanna the girl who killed her self.  Each tape are voice recordings of Hanna explaining why she killed her self.  Each of the tapes tells a story about a reason of why she does it.  In the stories there is on person who added on to a snow ball effect that led to her suicide.  The package was sent to 12 other people, Clay being number 10.  After one person listens to all 13 tapes he or she is to send the tapes to the person mentioned after them.
Talk about an intense read, it was really hard for me to put down the book.  It wasn’t a hard read if anything the reading level was a bit below my reading level.  Though it was a lower reading level the book had some big subjects as in teenage drinking, sex and the struggles at school.  Which helped pull me in, I had that connection with the characters.   But further and further in to the book that connection separated and my understanding with the characters lessened.  This may sound bad but at the end of the book Hanna was an idiot.  Its her fault she died not anyone else.  She could have stopped her self from killing her self if she was smart enough to open her eyes and see people were there to help her.  But maybe I'm just being insensitive and a jerk, that’s just the way I feel.
Besides the reading the way the writer Jay Asher wrote was interesting.  Instead of organizing the book in to chapters he started each “chapter” as a Cassettes; Cassette 1: Side A, Cassette 1: Side B, and so on and so forth.  The book was in first person from the point of view of Clay and the point of Hanna.  How can it be in first person from the perspective of two people?  Its interesting the first cassette starts with Hanna, Hello, boys and girls.  Hanna Baker here.  Live an in stereo.  All of Hanna’s dialog are italicized. Then the next line switches to Clay talking to him self. It goes on like that through the whole book.  I thought this was such a great way to write the book.

Bikinis...yesss. ;)

This is an essay i did in class, tell me what ya think.
In 1954 the very first Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue came out and boy was it hot... well
not really. I guess around that time a little ankle would get a guy real heated and wives real
steamed at their husbands. Men now would probably put the magazine under there chair leg to
stop the wobbling. But as time went on the bare ankle went to bare cafes, to leg ,to one peace
suits and the now itty bitty bikini. And from the steamed wife to the pissed off wife and the now
jealous wife. February is the time of month where lonely men stand in line for hours just to get
this issue and time where men stay up until 11 pm just to watch Letterman reveal the cover of the
issue.
The release of the issue is also a big deal for women too. Women browse the magazine
to see the hottest new styles that are out and to see how they can get the other men to take a
second glance.
"It is extremely competitive, and every swim wear designer in the world submits their designs for
the SI Swimsuit issue,"(Amahlia Stevens)
Also the issue is a huge chance for models to become super models. Just ask models like
Heidi Klum and Tyra Banks, their careers boomed even more then they already where. Models
all over the world would die to become cover girl, even get their own center fold in this issue.
There is a lot of fame and money to come out of this issue.
Going back to the hottest styles topic, this issue is a big deal for designer brands too.
Bikini brand names become very popular when super models are wearing them. Sauvage is a
brand that’s been try to get their swim suits into SI for 12 years and this is the first year that they get their design in. The SI Swimsuit issue has come a long way since the 50's and men all over the world are thankful...

Im'a Do Me

In this blog I've decided to respond to an article from Writer Magazine, I chose to respond from Our unique writing style becomes us  (http://writermag.com/Articles/2011/04/Our%20unique%20writing%20style%20becomes%20us.aspx )
I agree complete completely with this article.  What's writing with out voice, stories would be so bland.  This article makes me think about all the super hero comics I've read.  You see there are hundreds of different types of Spider-Man comics. Sure there's only one true story (Stan Lee story)  but the story has been told in so many different types of ways.  There are so many different types of ways that Peter Parker got bit and how he met up with his arch nemesis The Green Goblin. The story is the same but the way it's told is completely different. The series of events are never the same just like no one snow flake is the same, the same goes writing.

What Will You Watch?

Ill tell what your going to watch, every sci-fi, super hero, alien blasting, cow boy riding, treasure chest stealing, late night partying movie coming out this summer that's what!  This year is a good year for nerds all around the world especially if you're a super hero fanatic.  its a good year for super hero's such movies as Thor(came out May 6th. about  the Greek God of Thunder who is sent down to Earth and finds him self in an adventure for the Gods), Captain America: The First Avenger (comes out July 22. this movie is set in WWII where a young man agrees to become a new super soldier.), Green Lantern(comes out June 17. a test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers), Transformers 3(comes out July 1st. no need for an explanation but what you should know is there's a new tall blondie hottie replacing Megan Fox), X-Men: First Class(comes out June 3rd. This movie envolves the Very first X-Men "The First Class", where it all started and you'll find out how it all started!)
Besides all these great super movies, there are some other adrenalin running movies coming out.  Movies as the new Pirates of the Caribbean that stars the Hollywood hunk Johnny Depp.  This is one of four Pirate movies and this film is sure to be a big box office feature.  Steven Speilburg is coming out with Super 8 which is a movie that know one really knows about, all but one thing, it's sure to be awesome!  the list goes on and on, and if you want to find out more i suggest you go to http://screenrant.com/  and unleash your inner nerd!!

Its Not For Everyone

Leggings, you can see them as the worst thing that has ever happened to the 21st century or the best, it depends on your point of view. for me its a love hate relationship.  Some girls really know how to rock leggings others...not so much.  If the fashion police really existed they would be giving tickets left and right.  You would think that most of these girls would look in the mirror before they leave their homes.  There should be some type of weight limit to wearing leggings.  As mean as it sounds its true.  These more huskier laddies need to know that mine and countless others skin crawl when we see them in leggings.  Now if these girls want to wear a dress over them or something of that sort go for it, as long as they don't wear them by them selves.
Now if you have a slim waist and nice legs you can wear leggings all you want but be careful.  Even the better fit girls don't always look all that good in them.  You girls should probably double check with a good friend, better to hear you bad from them instead of a guy.
Well that's my input on leggings, please comment below and tell me if you disagree or agree, COME AT ME!
